EEXxtrrAAVaGAANZZAAaa~~~

It was SPCC's 90th Anniversary summer concert, and this year it was held at the AsiaWorld Expo in Tung Chung. Nice place, nice night. I think around 50 or more students of my class went there....pitty some couldn't make it as they have to work. Met a lot of alumni too~ GOOD.

It was a night full of SURPRISES~

Harry 哥哥 the magician whom we see on Road Show and children's TV programmes ) was our first MC, then there was Becky Lee and I had just known that she was the girl in the Maltese commercial and some other background singing things. And then, there was Derek Lin 李浩林 who as far as i know worked as a VJ in StarTV before and who's now working for TVB. Lastly there was Geoffrey Wong (黃子雄) who teaches English on TV we've all seen him but no one could remember his name HAHA! So there we had 4 MCs. Never knew that these people were from SPCC! (OK Becky lee I knew.)

Well as to guests, not-so surprising (as we have been told they'd be here...) there were Mark Lui, Eric Kwok、Eugene Pao、Ted Lo and Justin. I had only known that Eugene Pao is at the same level as Yo Yo Ma a month before the concert!! Eugene and Ted gave a Jazz performance which was awesome!! He's a truly fine guitarist! Then they jammed with a student band~ It was a nice jam and I'm glad to see some different musical styles among the students~ Being different from classical music I mean... Mark Lui and Eric Kwok didn't perform but just gave a short sharing on stage. Haha Eric Kwok is basically a foreigner. He had wanted to say that he studied only Forms 1 and 2 in SPCC but he said he studied only "年初一" and "年初二" instead and was inched by Harry haha~ Oh I just knew that Ted Lo is Justin's 三叔。

Ted Lo and Justin performed 3 songs....he jazzified our school hymn and fused it into 命硬. Nice one, but it was quite surprising as back then we asked the school whether we could rearrange our school hymn and the school said NO.....hehee may be Justin didn't even ask....

There were another 2 very interesting guests, 林敏蔥 (have i written correctly?) and this other guy i dont' know his name but he's the 講馬 guy!! 林敏蔥 was really funny~~~ and the 講馬 guy really 講-ed 馬! And then he mimicked beatle and 羅文's voices haha!! Ging!

There were other surprises too~~ Our students have developed more diverse interests....(or have been forced to engage in these activities for this concert....) There were Jazz dancing la, Jazz band i've mentioned already, Kung Fu la, Dragon dancing la, gymnastics la was like watching the olympics (BB level of course), Ballet la, oh and very impressive there was a percussion session by the primary school students using books and desks and chairs! Very energetic (hence bit surprising haha!)

Oh there was also something like 疊羅漢.....haha~~ Seems our school has become a circus.....

Good thing that our school has become more receptive to other activities....hope there would be more visual arts later la......

Haven't written for a long time and I've lost the ability to form proper sentences oh gosh! Have to resume writing asap~~

SPCC. Hm. I like my school.
