BEST WISHES TO MY FRIENDS

Attendance memo

Date: 30th August 2006
Time: Various
Attending: my cerebrum both left and right
___________________________________________________________________

1. I was busy from 9 to 5 today. It got busier after 5 but I allowed myself to slack with full knowlegde of the consequence of so doing.

2. Occasionally in the afternoon, thoughts about D1 and D2 popped up, both of whom charged with dangerous dating causing grievous harm or alternatively gross recklessness in dating.

2a. However, evidence show a defence of volenti non fit injuria or at least 50% contributory negligence to the above CRIMINAL charges.

3. Injuries include episodes of 90% loss of earning capacity resulting from the matter relating to D1 and D2 but the primary head of damage is PSLA.

4. In addition to the above, I was slightly unhappy about my performance in the workplace, because of lack of instructions and safety measures against my committing fatal mistakes.

5. Upon further reflection, I doubted if I could establish a duty of care on the part of Mr. X my supervisor as regards the matters set out in para. 4.

6. Upon perusal of file No. 2 (which i've brought home but have yet the mood to look at), I discovered to my dismay that much of the work I had done for Mr. X is not quite useful. Mr. X is immediately removed from the List of Suspects and officially stamped CONVICTED.

7. Got a message from a discharged suspect.

8. Thoughts about D1 and D2 resurfaced.

9. Resumed perusal of the file.

10. Left the office. As usual staring at the computer now.

11. Research showed some not-so pleasing news.

The shit continues....

I'm not sure if it's a group activity now, but I'm definitely the chairperson. Yup i'm still a shitty gold member.

After assessing my positions, I can only choose between bad and really bad. The good options, you can only wait for them to happen, they're not available for anyone to choose.

I've learnt long ago that I shouldn't depend my decision on other persons'. I can't wait for other people to make the move.

This is my decision.

but yea the shit continues....

Shitty Group Gold Member

The privilege this month is an exciting dinner with the persons involved and their families 9together with my family). Yay!! I've earned this privilege with points cumulated from June to end of July 2006 and some days in February 2005. I EARNED IT!
Well, they're the host family. If they're fine with it, I'm fine with it.
It just can't get shittier.....or can it?? So the rejection was appropriate and timely.
This is actually a must-go situation. The effect of not going will be even worse.
I shivered slightly at the idea the moment I heard about it.....but after a while.....hey I think I'm going to enjoy it. If, and I mean IF, anyone was looking forward to seeing this potentially embarrassing moment, or IF anyone was just anxious to see how I'd react, or IF anyone was just interested in seeing whatever that might happen to his amusement, well thanks. I'll be the one having fun when I see the disappointment in him in seeing nothing but a happy gathering.
Know what?
It CAN get shittier.
God Bless.

Questions...

Normally, you don't do what I'm doing.

Normally, you don't ask questions the answers to which you already know.

Fine I'm not normal.

Who, if any, on earth will do such silly and time-consuming things as I have just done? Not X.

Now that I've done what I've done, why should I still write about it here?
I can't control it.

why did I~

Ok fine I give up.

I've just done something and found out about something which I don't really want to know.

And there are only 2 possible explanations to why I'd done what I'd done.

Explanation A is that I'm in trouble.

Explanation B is that I'm trouble-looking.

These are not mutually exclusive and ok FINE! Both stand.

!@$$^$^*$#@$!@!#~!~~!!!

More work.

First week left at 7:30 on average. Fun.
Second week that is now, is HECTIC. left at 8:30 on average and continued working beyond midnight.
Still fun, with slight dissatisfaction towards myself for my performance. Otherwise things continues to be fine.
I have been informed who my principal is. Good. I like her.
There are bound to be people who don't match your channel. It's not anyone's problem.
Everything's gonna be FINE FINE FINE.....cos' i got one hand in my pocket....and the other one smoking a cigarrete........
Miss Alanis Morrisette...
Learning.
I don't even have time to review if I made the right decision. I don't even have time to make the new decision facing. The boat will be straight when it comes to the front ah ha......
If it tastes sweet, it's probably poison.
If you taste nothing, you've probably been killed.

Work

Work has been great.

Very friendly people. Partners and AS very willing to teach. And the whole firm plays a lot ha!

I feel that if I work hard enough I will be able to learn a lot here, and that I have the chance of becoming a really capable practitioner. Thing is, I do worry about job mobility.

We do rather specialised insurance claims. IF I were to change my career path in the future, where can I go? Noooo idea. But one thing the partner said which was very encouraging and inspiring, was that what you should learn from day one is the system of your work. Build up a good habit and you'll survive. There are mistakes you can't afford to make, however little they may seem to you. She's a very good supervisor I have to say. Unfortunately, she's more interested in another trainee, my good friend, my good smart friend. It's good to have such smart people around from whom I can learn.

As to letters, to send or not to send?

Thank goodness I have so many good things and good people around me.
